Laurent BEL, 59, 2017 World and European Veterans Champion, multiple French champion and medalist at the European and World Championships, member of the French national team for 15 years and of the French delegation at the 1988 Olympic Games in Seoul, is the founder of Escrime ParisNord. Alongside his sporting career, he taught his discipline for years in Parisian schools.

With Miguel Grajales, 24, a member of the Colombian team, Escrime ParisNord hired a fencing enthusiast. The young athlete and fencing master already had a coaching diploma from the Colombian Federation when he arrived in France. He then completed two years of training. One year at the Ile de France Fencing Committee as a federal sports fencing instructor, and one year of training at the French Fencing Federation (FFE) for the DEJEPS, the Level V state diploma, awarded by the Ministry of Sports.
